ABOUT ME

My name is Jamie Houghton.

Born in New York City, I moved to Hong Kong at the age of nine, where I began training with former kickboxing champion Alain Ngalani and studying parkour. As a kid, I spent countless hours playing dress-up with my little sister, sparking my imagination early on. My first acting experience came when I played a sick child held at gunpoint in Jean-Claude Van Damme’s film Pound of Flesh—an experience that sealed my love for acting.Beyond the screen, I’m passionate about surfing, producing, and writing indie rap. Under the name "Zayden James," I’ve released three original tracks. My training includes time at LAMDA and the National Youth Theatre in England, and I’m currently studying drama at NYU Tisch in the Atlantic Studio. I’m drawn to the offbeat energy of comedic misfits but find my deepest connection portraying underdogs in dramatic stories.
